Holiday Musings

I spent the holiday with family – dinner with my brother and his family, and then a long weekend in Victoria with my girl, her family, and my mom.  The drive was a surprise – no traffic through Everett, and no wait at the border. It was almost surreal – but a very welcome surprise! If it  hadn’t been for the terrible traffic getting out of town, we would have made the trip in an easy 5 hours, instead of 6!
We spend our vacation cooking, eating, sleeping, and exercising – pretty much in that order, too! And I helped set up some technology, which was fun.
Puja and I were clever enough to both come home before the end of vacation AND not go back to work – so we’ve had a couple of days to relax, tidy up, and get ready for the new year!
